The Backup and Disaster Recovery product Microlite BackupEDGE 2.01.03

The product supports both SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.4 through 5.0.7, SCO UnixWare Release 7.1.0 through 7.1.4 and the new released SCO OpenServer 6.

Microlite BackupEDGE provides backup, restore and disaster recovery capabilities for SCO UnixWare and OpenServer systems. It has many “best-in-class” features and benefits, including storage format, integrity checking, compression, device support, scheduling, disaster recovery and strong data encryption.
It provides a consistent method for protecting client systems, and enables partners to create more competitive solutions by supporting more storage device types than any other product.

Microlite BackupEDGE 2.1 Features:

The user interface renders itself in one of three ways:

• As a Java™ Interface on an X11 Desktop.
• As a Web Services Interface to any PC with a Java-enabled browser.
• As a standard character interface.
• All functions work identically in both character and graphical mode. Custom themes and colors may be designed
• Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices of any kind become valid BackupEDGE storage Resources
• Removable hard drives, flash drives and dedicated directories are now functional as valid storage devices
• You can backup your system to any ftp-Server
• BackupEdge supports SCOs SCOoffice Server 4.1 (incl. MP2)
• Multi-volume backups of any media type now have Fast File Restore™ / Instant File Restore™ capability
