Owner / paying Customer of SCO EdgeClick / MeInc you need at least ONE
smart phone in order to actively use the MeInc services. (e.g. in order
to send a shout message). All your contacts (Receivers of Shouts, Vote,
...) get the message by email. The email links them to a webpage that
includes the Shout message as well as your company branding
information. We also will
support a full Web Client which means you need no smart phone at all.
Currently we already support limited sending of Shout Voicemessages
from the EdgeClick Portal (QuickShout)
However, usage of a smart phone adds the
mobility feature in fact.
What
smart phones are currently supported?At the moment we
support the Palm Treo 650 smart phone. However, other smart phones with
Windows mobile OS or Symbian OS will be supported soon.
What will an SCO EdgeClick account look like? MeInc/EdgeClick
services will have a
single sign-on within a Community on the edgeclickpark.com Portal. E.g.
a Company
ACE will have the ace.edgeclickpark.com community and will login at http://ace.edgeclickpark.com in
order to manage contacts, groups, preferences etc.
How can we, as a SCO EdgeClick customer make money from using SCO digital Services - EdgeClick? Clearly, if
you offer an EdgeClick solution to your customers, that means increased
mobility support, better control of business processes etc. E.g. we
offer a HipCheck mobility service that allows to monitor your servers
from your smart phone, while you are on the road. You might be able to
sell the mobilization of your customers existing applications by
implementing access
from a smart phone via EdgeClick.
How can we, as a SCO EdgeClick customer make money from using SCO digital Services - MeInc? The current MeInc
digital Services Shout and Vote are ideal for enhanced direct
marketing. You will get better feedback and response and can stay in
closer (more personal) contact with your customers, friends, registered
users, etc. That's why we have a lot of interest for these services
from the Entertainment, Sports, ... industries. You can send a personal
voice message from whereever you are to a large group of contacts.
Immediatly. Real time. Very uptodate. This gives you new methods of
catching interest and create revenue opportunities.
How
can we, as a SCO MeInc Reseller make money?We have implemented a
MeInc Sales Agent program (MISA). The Me Inc. Sales
Agent Program is an ideal way for individuals and

introduce the EdgeClick Solution Provider Program, through which SCO

solution providers to sell, provision, bill and support innovative new
