Maintenance Pack 4 for UnixWare 7.1.4
Maintenance Pack 4 is the latest recommended maintenance update for SCO UnixWare 7.1.4. It contains a large number of updates, new features, and updated versions of many open source components as well as the integration of most recent web postings.
This Maintenance Pack is applicable to all UnixWare 7.1.4 customers and should be applied by all customers at their next opportunity.
Availability
Current UnixWare 7.1.4 customers can download the UnixWare 7.1.4 Maintenance Pack 4 immediately at no charge.
The files along with a detailed description of their content can be found on the SCO Download site. It may also be obtained from SCO’s FTP site

Maintenance Pack 4 is cumulative with Maintenance Packs 1 through 3 and the MP3 Samba and USB supplements and supersedes them.
It is fully compatible with the prior packs and supplements, and may be installed without their removal.

new UnixWare 7.1.4 media kit available - updated installation CD online
SCO announces availability details for updated Media Kits for SCO UnixWare 7.1.4.
The new Media Kits are available in English, French, Spanish and German language versions along with the Compact version with revised model numbers, and replace the current Media Kits. These new media kits will correct a problem with the installation of UnixWare 7.1.4 in non-English locales.
This new version of the UnixWare 7.1.4 Media Kit incorporates the following changes:
A new Base Operating CD (CD1) revises the boot image installer to eliminate a hang when automatically installing the ptf9052 Maintenance Pack 3 Supplement in the German, French, and Spanish locales. The software packages and versions on CD1 have not been changed.
The Maintenance Pack 4 CD has been added to the media kit replacing the MP3 CD.
Before applying the Maintenance CD you should first complete a fresh install or upgrade using the standard CD set which will automatically install the Maintenance Pack 3 Set (not the full MP3 CD) as well as ptf9052, and then follow the instructions contained on the Maintenance Pack 4 CD to apply the new maintenance packages afterwards.
SCO has made the ISO image of the new CD1 for UnixWare 7.1.4 available for download from SCO’s Support Download Site.
With this download customers who have a copy of the previous UnixWare 7.1.4 media kit will have access to the changes made in the latest media kit revision without having to purchase a new media kit. It may also be obtained from SCO’s FTP site

OpenServer 6.0.0 Xenix Compatibility Update OSS710A - Support Download
This supplement fixes issues that have been identified with some older Xenix applications that run binary on OpenServer 6.

a new nd package provides updated network drivers
The nd version 8.0.6g package provides new and updated support for a number of network cards. Please refer to the README file for a complete list. The supplement is available for OpenServer 6 and UnixWare 7.1.4
Security fix for Reliant HA installations
This supplement is now available in the SCO Support Download area.
Skunkware components - Cvsget
An updated Cvsget has been posted. The cvsget shell script semi-automates the retrieval of the latest source from CVS repositories for many open source development projects. A README describing how to install this Skunkware release is available at:

The Intel S3200SHL (Core2Duo, SATA) server model has been certified for OpenServer 5.0.7 and OpenServer 6 and UnixWare 7.1.4.
