Maintenance Pack 3 for UnixWare 7.1.4

Maintenance Pack 3 is the latest recommended maintenance update for SCO UnixWare 7.1.4.  With MP3, UnixWare 7.1.4 will now support the execution of native OpenServer 6 applications thus allowing the Single Certification of applications for both UnixWare 7.1.4 and OpenServer 6.  This Maintenance Pack is applicable to all UnixWare 7.1.4 customers and should be applied by all customers at their next opportunity.
Current UnixWare 7.1.4 customers can download the UnixWare 7.1.4 Maintenance Pack 3 immediately at no charge.

Maintenance Pack 3 is cumulative with Maintenance Packs 1 and 2, and supersedes them.  It is fully compatible with the prior packs, and may be installed without their removal. In addition to everything contained in prior maintenance packs, Maintenance Pack 3 contains the following updates for UnixWare 7.1.4:
•    Basic Maintenance Recommended for all UW714 customers
•    Support for the execution of native OpenServer 6 applications
•    Many Updated Open Source Packages including OpenSSL, OpenSSH, Samba, CUPS, and Mozilla

All UnixWare 7.1.4 customers are strongly advised to install this Maintenance Pack at their next maintenance interval.

AFPS to Samba Migration Guide
SCO no longer provides the AFPS product but has includesd Samba with OpenServer 6 and UnixWare. The OpenServer 6 "Migration and Upgrade Web Page" now also provides a migration guide for users that want to upgrade from AFPS to Samba in pdf and html format.
